A Fjord is a long thin stretch of water going inland from a sea or ocean with steep cliffs or mountains on either side. Fjords are most famously found in Norway but also appear in New Zealand and Iceland.
Fjords are epic places to commune with nature and, in that spirit, we will donate a portion of the proceeds from every sale to a fjord-related conservation program, specifically, the New Zealand Department of Conservation's Kākāpō Recovery program. The Kākāpō is a highly endangered flightless ground parrot that used to span a vast geographical range, but now only lives on three small islands in southern New Zealand, including one in Fiordland National Park.
Help us make a difference for this unique bird. Check out Kākāpō Recovery's work on their website.
